The University's new software download service, mySoftware, is now available offers site licensed software for free. Downloads can only be made on campus or via the campus wireless. Users can request external access to the site via the Service Desk, this is how distance users will be given access. Instructions about how to request access can be found in this Service Desk Knowledge Article.
Most software is now available from mySoftware including virus scanning software for Windows (all University Members) and for Macs (Staff only). All site licensed software that is not available through mySoftware will be available for £1 from the Software Sales office.
All queries to do with the mySoftware service should be logged via the Service Desk including license request where applicable.
You can find the Software Sales sales office in the Learning Centre opposite the reception desk. Our opening hours are 09.00 - 12.30 and 13.30 - 16.00 Mon - Fri.
You can also call on 44739 for advice relating to the purchase of licenses not covered by the mySoftware service.
